NEWS: Playing with Star Wars technology! (7/14/2012)

CM&BHC has just received a small business innovation research (SBIR) grant through the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in collaboration with Infinite Biomedical Technologies. The grant is to develop a game that can be used for training arm amputees who are fitted with new prostheses they can control with EMG sensing technology. COURSE: Spring 2012 on “Translational Research Methods: Interactive Media & Informatics”

FEATURE: Healthy Eyes Through Stereoscopy

EVENT: ‘Virtual Sprouts’ Kick-Off (10/25/2011)

On September 22nd, 2011, we kicked off a new project entitled Virtual Sprouts, funded by NIH with a newly formed advisory meeting, which was generously hosted by ICT. NEWS: ‘Brain Hero’ surpasses 16,000 views (10/20/2011)

Brain Hero, has surpassed 16,000 views on YouTube since it was posted on May 25th, 2011. The video has been widely distributed to national and international child welfare and advocacy organizations. Norlien Foundation who was the original sponsor for the project has released a version localized for Alberta, Canada and a brazilian portuguese version is also in the works.
