NEWS: “The Resilient Brain” @ NSTA Meeting (4/13/2012)

One of our game prototypes entitled “The Resilient Brain” (formerly known as Brain Architecture Game) was featured at the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) meeting in Indianapolis, sponsored by the Society for Neuroscience.

Dr. Judy Cameron ran the workshop The Developing Brain: What Science Teaches Us About Life Experience for 75 participants. She gave a 20 min slide presentation about the effects of life experiences on the brain prior to game play.

I participated in “The Resilient Brain Game” with Dr. Judy Cameron at an Early Childhood Summit in Nashville this June. I would like to play the game with my Preschool staff. Is the game posted on a website or for sale?
    Thank you.

I am happy to hear that you participated to one of these playtests by Dr. Cameron. At the moment, we are working on fundraising for a version we can package for those interested to buy it. In the meantime, for anyone interested, on a personal basis we can arrange for you to get a list of materials and instructions so long as you keep us in the loop on your experience and credit the team because it helps us with improving the game. We have two slightly different versions and we can discuss the variations you can make with it, you can try both and report back to us.
